U.S. children deficient in Vitamin D

This recent paper published in the journal Pediatrics concludes: "25(OH)D deficiency is common in the general US pediatric population and is associated with adverse cardiovascular risks." It is included in a review of three studies published in Journal Watch that states: "Many U.S. children and adolescents have low vitamin D levels, and such levels are associated with adverse physiologic processes."
